Since Alpha Sigma's Gamma Chapter was established in 2005, 8 pledge classes have been initiated. We invite you to rush so that we may begin our NINTH pledge class - IOTA - on the road of sisterhood. This could be you!

Why It's Important to Rush? by Founding President, Erika "Ivory" Hansen
Alright, so sororities can be very competitive. And more than likely where there's an invitation to rush one, there's invitations to rush a couple. It can be annoying when it seems like you're being hounded by them all, but truly rushing all the sororities is a good thing.
Some of my sisters reading this are probably like "What are you sayin' Ivory? Don't tell them that?" Because of course, we want you to rush Alpha Sigma and see how cool we are.
But here is why I say that: the point of rush is finding the sorority that best fits who YOU are. Would we be disappointed that you wanted to join another sorority and not Alpha Sigma? Certainly! But the last thing we want are sisters who don't enjoy our sisterhood. No one should think badly of you if you're shopping around. Specifically in terms of Alpha Sigma, take your time and really see if you have stuff in common with us. And even if you don't, maybe you'll find that we're cool people anyway and could see yourself as making our sisterhood more diverse than we already are.
