2003

* On 5/1/03, a huge milestone was set in the history books of Alpha Sigma Sorority. The Beta Colony at Hunter College was officially founded by the 15 Founding Mothers and preparations to start the Beta Chapter of Alpha Sigma had begun. With the guidance of our first Executive Board, President Christina "Imus" Waszak, Vice President Christina "Pascal" Duggan, Treasurer Kathleen "Lupi" Khan, and Secretary LaTasha "Merrick" Williams, we hope to work as hard as our original 21 Founding Mothers did in order to expand and strenghthen our sisterhood! Bring on the bunnies!!!!!

* On 11/16/2003, the Beta Chapter of Alpha Sigma was glad to announce the initiation of it's very first group of sisters from the Alpha pledge class. Ally "Elite", Glenda "Lucky", Jenna "Monet", Monica "Cylo" and Nicolle "Clinque" all were officially given their first set of Alpha Sigma letters. Congratulations girls! A job well done and definitely well deserved! Welcome to our sisterhood!

2004

* On 1/1/04, Alpha Sigma officially transferred over to the second official Executive Board of the Beta Chapter. Congratulations is in order for Christina "Imus" Waszak (President), Cara "Tyde" Ruggiero (Vice President), Tracy "Sprint" Brown (Treasurer), and finally Julia "Reeses" Mach (Secretary). Good luck everyone!

* On 2/14/04, Alpha Sigma turned 12 years old!! Happy Anniversary girls and here's to another 12 more years of sisterhood!

2005

* On January 2, 2005, the new Eboard for the Hunter Chapter was elected. Congratulations to Monica "Cylo" Feliciano (President), Glenda "Lucky" Holland (Vice President), Christine "Murphy" Burbank (Treasurer) and Wasoni "Vegas" Kim (Secretary) on your respective positions. The old Eboard (and the rest of the membership) will welcome the new Eboard at the Beta Chapter's first Semi-Formal on Saturday, January 8. Good Luck!

* On February 27, the Delta Pledge Class offically began their journey to sisterhood. Good Luck!

* On May 7, 2005, the Delta Pledge Class became sisters of Alpha Sigma Sorority! Congratulations to Emerald & Marvel! Wear your letters with pride!

* On October 8, 2005, the Epsilon Pledge Class offically began their journey to sisterhood. Congratulations and Good Luck to Dolce, Essence, Gizmo, Glory, Jubilee, Kiwi, Mattel, Sage and Siren! You're on your way!! ^_^

*On December 10, 2005, the Epsilon Pledge Class became sisters of Alpha Sigma Sorority! Congratulations to Jubilee, Mattel & Siren! Wear you letters with pride!

2006
On January 29, 2006, the Beta Chapter elected Glenda "Lucky" Holland, Kenya "Cheech" Clarke, Cleon "Marvel" Lewis, and Miriam "Lazer" Greene as their President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, respectively. Congratulations and Good Luck this year!

*The Zeta pledge class officially began their journey to sisterhood on October 21st. Good luck to Spirit, Blade, Mela & Rain!

* On December 27, 2006, the Zeta Pledge Class became sisters of Alpha Sigma Sorority! Congratulations to Spirit, Mela & Blade! Wear your letters with pride!

2007

*The Beta Chapter elected Serene "Emerald" Chakraverty, Miriam "Lazer" Greene, Glenda "Lucky" Holland, and Chanelle "Storm" Hamilton as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, respectively.

*The Eta pledge class officially began their journey to sisterhood on October 6, 2007.

*On December 1,2007, the Eta Class became sisters of Alpha Sigma Sorority. Congratulations to Souli!

2008

The Beta Chapter elected Serene "Emerald" Chakraverty, Lisamarie "Jubilee" Ng, Glenda "Lucky" Holland, and Eileen "Mela" Mota as President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, respectively, on Januray 5, 2008.
