The sisters of Alpha Sigma Sorority first started out as the "Little Sisters of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity". In need of gaining their independence, twenty one young and determined women wanted to establish their own greek letter organization. On February 14th, 1992 they finally received their charter and from that moment on Alpha Sigma Sorority was founded. It now in hindsight seems appropriate that our charter was received on the day reserved for love because each and every one of the sisters of Alpha Sigma share a bond and love for one another that goes way beyond just a couple of Greek letters.
